PC in the 9th minute for Complutense, but mistrapped and a wasted opportunity. In the 11th minute Arminen won a corner and the shot was stopped on the line by the body of the postman, PS awarded to Arminen. EITENBERGER stood up to take it, appeared to not quite get under the ball, but it had enough power to cross the line in the bottom right corner, out of the keepers reach. 14th minute Arminen won another corner, this time a switch to the right and UHER converted. 0-2. Complutense narrowed the gap with some slinky skills from CORRAL who dribbed the ball into the D, looked for a shot on goal, but was shut down, but found SÁNCHEZ on the flick spot, who only had to push the ball in! 1-2. The score remained 2-1 at half time.

Arminen had a spell of possession early in the second half and took their chances  via MINAR (current top scorer) in the 22nd,23rd and his 3rd goal in the 31st minute a really special one from a baseline shot. With nothing to lose Complutense opted for a power play and were rewarded with goals in the 33rd and 36th minute. An intense few minutes where Complutense threw body and soul at the game, earning 2 PCs in the final two minutes, the 1st earning another corner, the injection on the second one not quite connecting. A fantastic game of indoor hockey, displaying amazing skill and excellent tactics from both coaches.
