It is with deep regret that we have to advise members that Cemlyn Foulkes passed away on Wednesday 30th July.

Having played  for both Wales (98 caps outdoor and 45 indoor) & GB (15 caps), Cemlyn was one of 6 Welsh players in the final squad of 20 from which the Moscow Olympic squad would have been chosen. He carried on his playing career with the Welsh Men’s Masters and made many appearances for the various age groups over the years, being elected as the Masters President a number of years ago.

A true gentleman, an extremely passionate Welshman and a wonderful hockey player who will be sadly missed by all.

In their final match at the Commonwealth Games tomorrow (Friday) the Men’s squad will wear black arm bands in memory of Cemlyn.
Our thoughts go out to Trin and family at this sad time.
