Scotland 1 – Ireland 3

The game between Scotland and Ireland was typical of a match played between close rivals: physical, strong and with fast performance, adrenaline, and not so many goals. So, the draw of the first 35 minutes was perfectly acceptable. On the 46th minute, the striker Nick Burns scored to Ireland, and made his 7th own goal on the championship. On the 60th minute, Andrew Malcolm drew the result, but on the 68th minute, Mark Loughrey placed Ireland on front and the same player made even the 3rd Irish goal on the last minute.

Ireland is the champion!

Italy 1 – Portugal 2

The game between Italy and Portugal promised heaven to the Portuguese team, but the “Linces” could also die on the beach after a good championship. David Franco, on the 10th minute converted a penalty corner giving advantage to Portugal.
First half was good, but Portugal lost some opportunities to increase the score, but Edoardo Testagrossa played well in the Italian goal.

The Italian pressed Portugal on the beginning of the second half, and Thomas Keenan tied the game, on the 39th minute. On the 48th minute Portugal sent the ball against the post, missing the 1-2. The Italian team was playing rudely under the complacency of the Scottish umpire. Strong second half, running for history. And all players on the pitch were so brave!
On the last minute, Portugal, by William Rogerson, scored the 2th goal. Unbelievable ambient of the supporters. Portugal, for the first time in the history of the Portuguese hockey, is in a A Division.

Belarus 2 – Russia 8

The last day of the championship began under rain and was postponed one hour. On the 16th minute, Russia scored the first goal by Mikhail Proskuryakov, and advanced, on the 21st minute, by Pavel Iurinov, on the 27th minute and on the 29th Alksandr Boitcov increased the scoreboard to 0-4. On the 32nd minute, Mikhail Proskuryakov, made his second goal.

Open match with Russia leading to a smashing victory.
