23rd May 2016, Brussels; So it’s #MotivationMonday and as the European Club season ends, we reflect back on some of the inspirational players during the recent EHCCC who performed as part of their teams but with some exceptional performances to earn #TheBestoftheBest:

Best Player: 

Jana Teschke (UHC, Hamburg)

Her slinky skills and incredible ball control earned Jana this title.

Best Keeper: 

Anna Shichkina (CSP Krylatskoye)

Anna was incredible during her games for Krylaskoye, never giving up in spite of endless waves of attack from the eventual winners Den Bosch in her first game and then securing a 4-2 victory over Ireland’s Pegasus to ensure a 7th placing in the EHCCC 2016.

Top Scorer: 

Maartje Paumen (Den Bosch)

Maartje was ‘on song’ with a total of 6 goals, 3 corners and 3 strokes to earn her the Top Scorers award.

Fair Play Trophy: 

Canterbury

In spite of this being an intense and very competitive Tournament, Canterbury only received one green card so picked up the Fair Play Trophy, Canterbury’s Captain Grace Balsdon received the award on behalf of her team.
