11th February 2017: The opening games of the afternoon did not disappoint, no one wants to leave this division, so the Relegation Pool C games are vital to the teams from Poland, Spain, Sweden and Russia. Two will be be relegated after the completion of the Pool C tomorrow.

WKS Grunwald Poznan 3 – 4 (2 – 0) C.H. SPV Complutense

Grunwald had the better start of the game, going ahead twice in the first half without reply from the Spaniards. But, it was Complutense who had the better of the second half. Two goals in two minutes from RICKLI and the game was drawn. Grunwald did go ahead again via MIKULA, but again Complutense replied, using a power play for the extra man to their advantage. The Final score was 3-4 and Complutense sit on 7 comfortable points going into tomorrow’s final game.


Dinamo Stroitel Ekaterinburg 4-4 (3 – 0) Partille SC

Another game of 2 halves as Dinamo were by far the better team in the first half going 3-0 up without reply. Partille looking like they had used all their energy trying to stay in the semi-final this morning. But the come back kids struck again… They managed to claw their way back into the game, goals from HEMVIK and BJÖRKMAN brought the scoreline to 3-2. Dinamo went ahead again 4-2. But a well worked passage of play and a power play in the 26th minute levelled the score and with immense composure at the back Partille held on for the draw. On 4 points in the pool, their game v Grunwald is critical for them staying in this division in 2018.
