Posted On 10/03/2020

10th March 2020, Brussels: The EHF Competitions Committee Outdoor met last weekend at Royal Leopold Club in Brussels for its first meeting of 2020.

Ahead of the meeting, the Regulations Working Group met and its suggestions and recommendations were presented to the Competitions Committee Outdoor during its meeting on Saturday 7th March. Some updates to the various EHF Regulations will be made as soon as possible.

The Committee discussed calendar issues and received updates regarding EHF, EHL and FIH matters. Some recommendations will be brought to the EHF Executive Board Meeting.

The Committee was also updated on the Club events due to be held in April and May/June and the U18 Championships events due to take place in the summer of 2020.

The 2020 U21 Invitational events were discussed and it was noted that various withdrawals had unfortunately led to the cancellation of 2 of those events. The Committee again wished to express their appreciation to Scotland and Turkey to offer to host those events.

The Committee considered all entries and Applications to Host the 2021 Senior and Hockey5s U16 Championships and made recommendations to the EHF Executive Board.

After the EHF Executive Board has met the various announcements will be made.

The EHF would like to thank the KBHB for kindly hosting this meeting.
