The EHF is stakeholder in the SWinG Mentorship Programme which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
Given the challenging times where mentors and mentees cannot meet face to face, Carole Ponchon, project leader for the SWinG programme, has launched a series of Webinar’s from the keynote speakers.
The first one was from our very own President, Marijke Fleuren. Marijke is also a member of the Board of the FIH and a member of the IOC Commission “Women in Sport”, a member of the EHL Board and a partner (together with EHF’s Development Manager, Tom Pedersen-Smith) in the SWinG Programme.
Marijke speaks about her vision of leadership, especially in this unprecedented time when leadership is being tested by an extreme level of uncertainty.
She started by asking the attendees to consider Who are you? Not their personalities but to consider how to be credible in your leadership role at all times.
This is a masterclass in leadership and we are very proud to have Marijke as part of our hockey family.
We highly recommend taking time out to listen to her and the thinking behind the decision making processes of the EHF at this time, based on the principles of fairness and solidarity.
