The EHF President, Marijke Fleuren said” We have taken these decisions bearing in mind what is fairest to all involved, in particular, the impact on our athletes.”
She reiterated her message about event planning for 2021 “As we stated already, all of the planning for 2021 is based on the hope the COVID19 will be more under control, that there will be gain free and easy travel within Europe. Should that not be the case and WHO and Government restrictions are still in place, then this decision will be revisited with our stakeholders.”
