EuroHockey Indoor Championships 2022, dates, venues and pools – UPDATED

As announced last November (click here) the 2022 EuroHockey Indoor Championships (Women and Men) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. We are now delighted to announce the pools. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2020 competition.

POSTPONED, Men’s Indoor Championship – Hamburg (GER), Sporthalle Hamburg- 13-16 January 2022

Pool A: AUT, CZE, NED, BLR

Pool B: GER, RUS (* excluded for the foreseeable future), BEL, SUI

Men’s Indoor Championship II – Paredes (POR), Pavilhão Multiusos de Paredes – 14-16 January 2022

Pool A: POL, CRO, TUR, ESP

Pool B: UKR, POR, ITA, SVK

POSTPONED, Men’s Indoor Championship III – Nicosia (CYP), CBF Arena (Agios Dometios) – 14-16 January 2022

One Pool: DEN, SCO, IRL, CYP, LTU, SWE

Pool B: SUI, BEL, CRO, ESP

POSTPONED, Women’s Indoor Championship III – Bratislava (SVK), Dom športu Bratislava – 21-23 January 2022

One Pool: SVK, POR, DEN, ITA

Date: in case of 4 teams, the event dates will be 22-23 January. When a 5th team enters late, the event will be played over 3 days.

NB The withdrawal date for all tournaments in this competition is 30 June 2021. Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF. See current EHF Indoor Championship Regulations for further details.

NB For the Indoor Senior Championships tournaments the arrangement of the pools will be the responsibility of the FIH (using the appropriate World Ranking positions at the moment the match schedules are prepared).
