At the end of last week, the EHF Competitions Committees Outdoor met online for their first meeting of the year.

A full discussion took place around events in 2021 in relation to the impact of COVID19.

The Committee received updates on the EuroHockey Club events 2021, EuroHockey Championships 2021, EuroHockey U18 Championships 2021, EuroHockey5s U16 Championships 2021 and EuroHockey5s Tournaments 2021.

Entries were considered and recommendations for the awarding of the 2022 EuroHockey Junior Championships were made. These will be announced as soon as the EHF Executive Board has approved them.

They received updates on FIH events and discussed various (regulations) questions and proposed updates.

The next Committee meeting will be in September 2021.
