The committee moved quickly online to respond to the COVID situation. More online seminars have been developed and the blended learning approach is a good base to build upon moving forward. As a consequence of the big changes in 2020 and lack of face-to-face meeting, the committee and working groups met more regularly than usual.
From the Appointments side, there was discussion about strategies and timelines for the upcoming year. An overview of the Development Umbrella was given to the committee, and the full outline of the EHF Institute and standardised Education pathways for officials.
The group received updates from the FIH Officials Committee representative Sylvie Petitjean.
Appointments will meet again next month regarding outstanding EuroHockey 2021 appointments and the 2022 Nomination periods, and the Education groups will continue to meet regularly to discuss the educational framework and planned courses. The full committee will meet again in three months to stocktake and review and changed committee priorities for the upcoming period.
