Final day EuroHockey Clubs and EHL for 2021

Posted On 03/10/2021

Today was the final day of our EuroHockey and EHL 2021 season, it did not disappoint!

We delivered 39 games live, from 5 venues, so a huge thank you to the small (mostly volunteer) crews that made this happen!

Our volunteers and officials went out of their way to travel during these difficult times to make sure that the games happened in a fair manner. Some gave up their own birthday celebrations, and indeed one umpire even missed her daughter’s first birthday, that’s dedication… We are grateful to you all.

A thank you also to our ball patrol who turned up in the sunshine and the rain to keep the games flowing.

Thank you to the teams who traveled (some via bus for 24hrs+) to make the very best of the EuroHockey and EHL club events.

And finally to our 6 hosts:  Lille MHC, Slavia Praha, Post Wien, TJ Plzeň-Litice, UHC Hamburg, and KHC Dragons – you made it possible for us to deliver on our promise that ‘every match matters’.

The EHF will issue an update on the makeup for the 2022 season as soon as possible!
