EHF Competitions Committee Indoor – meeting 11 October

Last week, the EHF Competitions Committees Indoor met online for their 2nd meeting of the year. 

The Committee received updates on the EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championships 2021, the EuroHockey Indoor Championships 2022, and the EuroHockey Indoor Club events 2022.

The National Associations participating in the Championship events in December and January have been informed about the protocols around Covid19. The Clubs will be informed in due course.

The Committee received updates on FIH events. 

The next Committee meeting will be in May 2022.

EHF Competitions Committee Outdoor – meeting 13 October

Last week, the EHF Competitions Committee Outdoor met online for their postponed 2nd meeting of the year. 

A review took place around the Championship events and club events, which took place between July and October 2021. It was noted that the nations and Officials/Umpires were very happy to be back on the pitch and everyone was to be congratulated for their efforts.  

 The Committee received updates on the EuroHockey Junior Championships 2022.

Moreover, the 2022 Outdoor Club events were discussed and awarded. The host venues and dates have been published shortly after the meeting.(click here) 

Entries were considered and recommendations for the awarding of the 2022 EuroHockey Qualifiers, 2022 EuroHockey5s U16 Championships and 2022 EuroHockey5s Championship (Men) were made. These will be announced as soon as the EHF Executive Board has approved them, which will most likely be mid-November.

The Committee received updates on the EHL, on FIH events and discussed some regulations questions.

The next Committee meeting will be in March 2022.
