Brussels, Belgium, 2nd February 2022: The EHF and DHB are delighted to confirm the rescheduled dates of the EuroHockey Indoor Championships Men and Women will be from 7th   – 11th December 2022, Hamburg Germany.

More details to follow in the coming weeks.
Angus Kirkland, Director General of the European Hockey Federation said “We are pleased to be in a position to announce the rescheduled dates of the 2022 EuroHockey Indoor Championships, Men and Women. We look forward to delivering a fantastic event with the DHB and ending 2022 on a positive note for our athletes and fans.”
Hamburg’s sports Senator Andy Grote: “With the EuroHockey Indoor Championships Men and Women, Hamburg 2022 is all about hockey. After the Corona-related postponement, we are now doing everything we can to bring the best national hockey teams to the Active City this year. Above all, our German men’s and women’s hockey teams will hopefully really turn up the heat here with the fans behind them and recharge their batteries. For the Active City and all hockey fans, this EuroHockey Championship will be an early Christmas present and the grand finale of this sporting year.”DHB President Carola Morgenstern-Meyer added: “We are very happy that we can now host this EuroHockey Indoor Championship after all. European Indoor Championships are always first-class stages for our sport and extremely popular spectator magnets. We would like to thank the EHF for their confidence in us as hosts – also and especially in the difficult phase, as a postponement was unavoidable for pandemic reasons. We are also very grateful that Active City Hamburg is again supporting us as a partner. Together we will present a glamorous double EuroHockey Indoor Championship – and not to forget, also an emotional premiere for a parallel European Indoor Championship for HockeyID teams.”
