EuroHockey U18 Youth Championships 2023 – UPDATED

6th May 2022, Brussels, Belgium: (Updated on 7th December 2022 )The 2023 EuroHockey U18 Youth Championships will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations are qualified for pools and divisions based on their final ranking from the 2021 competition.

Boy’s Championship

Teams: AUT, BEL, ENG, ESP, GER, IRL, NED, POL, RUS (*excluded for the foreseeable future), SCO

Venue: Krefeld (GER)

Dates: Saturday 8 – Sunday 16 July 2023

Boy’s Championship II-A

Teams: BLR (*excluded for the foreseeable future), CRO, FRA, TUR, UKR, FIN, BUL

Venue: Alanya (TUR)

Dates: Sunday 9 – Saturday 15 July 2023

Withdrawn: DEN, POR

Boy’s Championship II-B

Teams: CZE, ITA, LTU, LUX, SVK, SUI, WAL

Venue: Swansea (WAL)

Dates: Sunday 9 – Saturday 15 July 2023

Withdrawn: SLO, ARM

Girl’s Championship

Teams: AUT, BEL, ENG, ESP, FRA, GER, IRL, NED, RUS (*excluded for the foreseeable future), SCO

Venue: Krefeld (GER)

Dates: Saturday 8 – Sunday 16 July 2023

Girl’s Championship II-A

Teams: CRO, CZE, ITA, LTU, SUI

Venue: Zagreb (CRO)

Dates: Monday 10 – Saturday 15 July 2023

Lithuania withdrew as hosts so the venue is now Zagreb, Croatia

Girl’s Championship II-B

Teams: BLR (*excluded for the foreseeable future), POL, TUR, UKR, WAL

Venue: Swansea (WAL)

Dates: Monday 10 – Saturday 15 July 2023

Notes:

  1. End January 2023 the EHF will look if teams need to swap events as by then the withdrawal deadline has passed.
  2. The withdrawal date for all tournaments in this competition is 15 January 2023. Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF. See current EHF Youth Championship Regulations for further details.
  3. Players need to be born on, or after, 1 January 2005. The minimum age on the first day of the event remains 13.
