UN SDG 10 Inequalities

Programme Overview

SDG 10 is central to the Inclusion Charter’s focus on accessibility and diversity. EuroHockey has taken steps to reduce inequality by encouraging participation from underrepresented groups, including people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and disadvantaged communities.

Initiatives include adapted formats of hockey and inclusive competition structures. In the future, EuroHockey aims to further remove financial, cultural, and structural barriers to participation.

This includes expanding outreach programs, increasing funding support, and strengthening anti-discrimination policies.

Through these actions, EuroHockey promotes equal opportunities in sport, ensuring that hockey is accessible to everyone regardless of background or ability.
