The EHF Competitions Committee Indoor met online, last weekend (6 June) for its 2020 annual meeting.
During the meeting, the Committee received updates regarding EHF and FIH matters and was updated on the Indoor Junior Championships events due to take place in January 2021 if Covid19 will allow this to happen.
The 2020 Indoor Championships and Indoor Club Championships were evaluated and it was noted that the events were hosted very well. The Committee wants to express its gratitude to all the Senior hosts in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belarus, Croatia and Slovakia and to all the Club hosts in Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Portugal and Slovenia!
The Committee considered all entries and Applications to Host the 2021 Indoor Club Championship events and made decisions on the hosts. The hosts will be announced Thursday 11 June at 12.00h CET on www.eurohockey.org.
The deadline for entries and Applications to Host the 2022 Indoor Championship events had already been postponed till September. The EHF Competitions Committee Indoor will then again meet online to make recommendations on hosting these events to the EHF Executive Board. In the September Board Meeting the hosts will be decided and the outcome will then be published shortly after.
