Coaches 4 Europe (C4E) and Top Coaches Programme (TCP)
- 60 Coaches and 14 Mentors in Attendance
This was the beginning of a new journey after the postponement of 2021 live course where supplemented with a range of online learning opportunities and we also welcome 20new coaches onto the programmes. The vision was set out for the new delivery plan for 2021 which after programme evaluation now includes a range of online workshops for the cohort of coaches coming up. These sessions will contribute to the wider learning of coaches as they hear from global guests from the world of sport outside of hockey next month.
The opening was presented by EHF Development Manager Tom Pedersen-Smith as he highlighted in detail the key topics and areas that will be covered and the explanation of the 4 Online Workshops, the 2 Live Seminars and the 1:1 Debrief reflections with mentors that will enable coaches the substance and time to reflect and master their skills as people and coaches.
The formation of this delivery map has been enabled due to the contributions of over 30 educators and committee members whom have given so much to the EHF over the past 12months to align the programmes additional intellectual outputs for 2022.
Following the opening the 60 coaches where designated into 10 breakout rooms with their EHF mentors in a relaxed session designed to reflect on their journey so far as a coach and their ambitions moving forward.
This is an exciting time in the EHF as we build towards the formal launch of the EHF Institute, more on this to follow soon.
