EuroHockey Junior Championships 2022 – update

Updated information, 3rd May 2022, Brussels, Belgium: The 2022 EuroHockey Junior Championships (Men and Women) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2019 competition.

Men’s Junior Championship

Teams: AUT, BEL, ENG, ESP, FRA, GER, NED, SCO

Venue: Ghent (BEL)

Dates: 24-30 July 2022

Excluded: RUS

Men’s Junior Championship II

Teams: CZE, IRL, ITA, POL, TUR, WAL

Venue: Plzeň Litice (CZE)

Dates: 24-30 July 2022

Excluded: BLR

Men’s Junior Championship III

Teams: FIN, LTU, SUI, UKR

Venue: Helsinki (FIN)

Dates: 26-30 July 2022

Withdrawn: CYP, LUX, POR, SVK, GIB

Women’s Junior Championship

Teams: BEL, ENG, ESP, GER, IRL, NED, SCO, WAL

Venue: Ghent (BEL)

Dates: 24-30 July 2022

Excluded: RUS

Women’s Junior Championship II

Teams: AUT, CZE, FRA, ITA, POL, UKR

Venue: Vienna (AUT)

Dates: 24-30 July 2022

Excluded: BLR

Women’s Junior Championship III

Teams: LTU, SUI, TUR

Venue: Alanya (TUR)

Dates: 27-30 July 2022

Withdrawn: GIB

 

NB For the Junior Championships tournaments the composition of the pools will be the responsibility of the EHF and will be based upon the World Ranking of the participants’ senior teams (at the moment the match schedules are prepared).

NB The withdrawal date for all tournaments in these competitions is 15 January 2022. Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by the EHF. See current EHF Regulations for further details.
