The 2022 EuroHockey Junior Championships get underway today in Ghent, Vienna, and Plzeň Litice.
The most recent edition of the U21 event was in 2019, which saw German (m) and Spain (w) lift the coveted Cups in Valencia.
The change in the years to host this event is to ensure that the EuroHockey Junior Championships will always be in the opposite year to the EuroHockey Championships events.
This is a World Cup Qualifier with the top FIVE Teams automatically qualifying from Ghent to the next FIH Junior World Cups (m and w)
