In conjunction with the Türkiye Hockey Federation and host club Gaziantep Doruk SK, the EHF has taken the difficult decision to cancel the women’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup which was due to be played in Alanya from February 24th – 26th.
The decision was taken in light of the continuing impact that the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria has had on the region and the hockey family in Türkiye.
EHF President Marijke Fleuren said “As the awful impact that the earthquake has had on the Türkiye hockey family, and the country as a whole unfolds, we stand with Türkiye. We are in contact and will help where we can. In the meantime, I would urge the extended hockey family to do what you can to help.”
