The EHF President, Marijke Fleuren said “As you can imagine we are all very disappointed that we have had to make the decision not to play these 5 club events at Whitsun 2021, but we are all sure that given the circumstances it is not possible to play these events at Whitsun. Thank you to our Competitions Manager, David Voskamp, who has engaged with every club and host to ascertain their view on the holding of these events ahead of the Board meeting.”
“We are in the process of investigating the option of playing these events later in the 2021 calendar year, which will then most likely be the end of September. More information will be announced in due course.”
Marijke concluded “Thank you to the clubs, hosts and our volunteers for your understanding. We are looking forward to brighter times for all of us soon. In the meantime, please pay attention to the health advice being given by the WHO and keep well.”
