The EHF and DHB are delighted to announce that, as previously agreed, the 2024 EuroHockey Indoor Championship, women (8th – 11th February 2024) will be in Germany, and in 2026 the EuroHockey Indoor Championship, men (dates TBC) will also be in Germany.
Venues and further details are to be announced in due course.
The EHF Director General, Angus Kirkland said “Having just delivered a fantastic EuroHockey Indoor Championships in Hamburg last week, we are in no doubt that the 2024 women’s event and 2026 men’s event are in safe hands with the DHB. Indoor hockey events in Germany deliver a fantastic experience for athletes and fans alike! We are looking forward to announcing the venues and more details in the coming months in partnership with the DHB.”
Niclas Thiel, Commercial Director, DHB added “We are very happy that we already know that we will host two more European highlight events in 2024 and 2026. This means we will have four European Championships in Germany in five years. But before we go indoors again in 2024, we are now looking forward to the 2023 European Field Hockey Championships in Mönchengladbach.”
