EuroHockey 5s U16 Championship II Girls 2026 (Kutaisi, Georgia)
Russia are all but assured of a place in Saturday’s final after they defeated Bulgaria 12-1 and then saw off nearest rivals Belarus 4-1 to make it three wins from three. Belarus had earlier beaten Armenia with a large scoreline to move onto six points.
Slovakia, meanwhile, came from a goal down to beat Bulgaria 3-1 with Andrea Ticha’s two goal earning them their success. The result sees them mathematically in the hunt but they probably will need to undo Russia to have a chance of a final spot.
