The Netherlands will face Argentina in the women’s Junior World Cup final on Sunday after they got the best of England 8-1 on Friday.
Belgium, however, were denied in their semi-final in a dramatic shoot-out and so will face the English side in the battle for bronze.
For the Dutch, tournament leading scorer Trijntje Beljaars showed her prowess as she scored two brilliant field goals.
Emma Reijnen and Mikki Roberts also scored a brace each while Jip Dicke and Lili De Nooijer (35’) netted one goal each.
Player of the Match Jip Dicke said: “We are extremely happy to be qualifying for the finals of the World Cup yet again.
“We had made up our mind to play hard from the very first minute and that’s why we were able to score eight goals. We will keep things simple for the final as it has been going well for us. I am sure we would have our hands on the trophy once more if we play well according to our plans.”
In the second semi-final, Argentina goalkeeper Artola Mercedes put on a stunning performance as their game with the Young Red Panthers was scoreless after the end of 60 minutes.
In the shoot-out, Argentina converted their last three shootouts while Belgium failed to convert the first three, taking them to the finals.
Elsewhere in the competition, Spain will face Japan in the seventh place playoff on Sunday with Germany meeting Australia for fifth.
