Nevşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü completed the perfect week at the men’s EuroHockey Club Challenge I in Konya as they won the final 10-0 against HC Vinnitsa 1981.
They led from the second minute through Onur Acikgöz and never looked back; it was 3-0 at half-time with Hasari Erdoğan and Acikgöz getting those goals.
In the second half, Furkan Ataş, Aydin Şahin, Celal Aydin, Ekrem Ebçem, Ömer Karakus and Cihan Korkmaz all joined the score-sheet.
Orient Lyngby, meanwhile, finished in third place with a 5-3 win against Hungary’s Építök. The Danes built a 3-0 lead before their rivals cut the gap back to 4-2 early in the final quarter but Torr Turners’ goal finally made the outcome secure.
