Prague’s UNYP Arena has been confirmed as the host venue for the women’s 2026 EuroHockey Indoor Championship, bringing the event to the city for the third time.
This 1,300-capacity venue also hosted this top tier event in 2018 and will look forward to welcoming 10 nations for the event which runs from January 15th to 18th, 2026.
“Czech Hockey has a long history of hosting many European championships and we’re happy that EuroHockey decided to give the hosting of the European Championships 2026 indoor to our women’s national team,” said Czech Hockey President Gino Schilders.
“I believe the 2026 European championships will be a great opportunity for the team to show their skills in front of a home crowd.
“We are looking forward to welcome all teams and fans from the participating countries and, as always, federation staff and volunteers are eager to make this tournament a success. Looking forward to see you all in Prague!”
The confirmation is among four hosting venues to be announced today. Women’s Championship II will be hosted by Lousada in Portugal with eight teams competing over three days from January 16th to 18th, 2026.
