Thirty-two umpires confirmed for Umpires for Nations and Umpires for Europe programmes

Thirty-two umpires will participate in the EuroHockey Umpires for Nations (U4N) and Umpires for Europe (U4E) programmes in 2025 following confirmation by the Officials Committee.

“It is again very encouraging for EuroHockey to see that there are so many umpires in Europe who are looking to learn, improve and further their umpiring careers,” said Magda Nazaret Chair of the EuroHockey Officials Committee.

“We are delighted to see such a high quality of applications from national associations. Over 30 nationalities have been represented through the umpire education programme over the past decade.”

This year, 10 umpires will form the U4N group with 22 on the U4E route. These two programmes include mentoring, technical modules, observational learning and practical appointments across two seminar weekends.

The first will be run next Easter in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands with the second seminar taking place in Breda next August.
