The Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Foundation, ensuring good governance, integrity, and compliance with all legal and ethical obligations.
The Board shall:
- Include representatives from a range of relevant sectors, bringing diverse expertise and perspectives
- Provide strategic oversight of the Foundation’s mission, activities, and finances
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, governance, and safeguarding requirements
- The Foundation may appoint a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of ten (10) Trustees, with a commitment to maintaining a 50/50 gender balance.
- Trustees are appointed for a term of four (4) years and may serve a maximum of three consecutive terms, for a total of twelve (12) years, with the exception of the EuroHockey Director General, EuroHockey President and EuroHockey Treasurer whom serve in accordance with their role.
