The EuroHockey Club Challenge II Women 2025 continued to provide plenty of drama on Day 2 in Copenhagen. The hosts thrilled their fans with a memorable comeback win over Orient Lyngby, while SLF Mesaicos earned their first points of the competition with a confident performance against Seinäjoki United.
Game 3: Seinäjoki United 0–4 SLF Mesaicos
SLF Mesaicos delivered a composed team display to defeat Finland’s Seinäjoki United 4–0.
Elijn Kroese opened the scoring with a penalty corner in the 2nd minute. The Dutch player completed her hat-trick with two further penalty corner goals in the final quarter (53’, 58’). Laureen Dahrendorf rounded off the scoring in the closing moments (60’, PC), securing a valuable first win for Mesaicos.
Game 4: Copenhagen HC 2–1 Orient Lyngby
Hosts Copenhagen HC came from behind to edge a thrilling 2–1 victory over Danish rivals Orient Lyngby.
Ana Pacheco gave Lyngby the lead with a field goal in the 16th minute. The hosts responded in style during a dramatic final quarter. Katja Christensen equalised with a well-placed penalty corner (52’) before Antonia Oschmann fired home the winner from open play (54’), sealing a vital three points in front of a vocal local crowd.
