What a morning of drama here in Alanya! With so many connotations last night, it was impossible to predict who would join Düsseldorf in the semi-finals.
In the opening game of the morning, Düsseldorf and Buckingham delivered a hard-fought battle as Buckingham was aware that goal difference could factor in later on. Final score 9-1.
Racing and Wettingen played out a very close contest, a 2-1 defeat was enough to put Racing in the semi-finals on a better goal difference over Rotweiss!
The third game of the day was critical for both teams to get a win and give themselves a fighting chance of a semi-final place! A close contest played out with both teams fighting to the end! A 4-3 win for Sumchanka put them into the semi-final and Slavia will now play Wettingen to attempt to hold their position in the division.
Our fourth game was end-to-end action with a semi-final place at stake! A draw would be enough for Complutense but for host team Gaziantep nothing less than a win would be enough! The teams exchanged two goals apiece in the first half. Complutense went ahead again and were within reach of the semi-final place, a missed stroke and two late goals from Gaziantep put them into a historic semi-final of this championship
