The EuroHockey EDI Panel met last week as they continue to work towards the release of the first EDI Charter for EuroHockey.

The panel members and co-chair Cathelijne Rockall were joined by Marijke Fleuren, Honorary Life President and Chair of the FIH GEDI Committee, to help align the continental federations with the operations and strategy of FIH.

This was very well received by the panel members who then spoke in length about the focus areas of EuroHockey and member NA’s and the tangible actions to be attained during the period of 2025 to 2027.

 “It was a great honor to have Marijke speak at our EDI panel meeting and have in depth exchanges with the experts on our panel,” said Rockall of the meeting.

“We have made big steps in moving from abstract ideas to focusing on the five important topics.

“I am grateful and impressed by the commitment and expert knowledge of the committee members and eurohockey staff, and the value we can bring to our national associations.”
