The EuroHockey 5s U16 Championships 2024 (Men and Women) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2022 competition.
Boy’s U16 Championship
Teams: AUT, CRO, POL, SUI, SVK, TUR, UKR, WAL
Venue: Zagreb (CRO)
Dates: 3rd -6th July 2024
Note: Vienna (AUT) handed back the hosting due to construction work at the proposed venue
Boy’s U16 Championship II
Teams: ARM, BUL, DEN, GEO, LUX
Venue: Kutaisi (GEO)
Dates: 4th -6th July 2024
Withdrawn: BLR, RUS, ITA
Girl’s U16 Championship
Teams: AUT, CRO, GEO, POL, SUI, TUR, UKR, WAL
Venue: Zagreb (CRO)
Dates: 3rd -6th July 2024
NB For the U16 Championships, the arrangement of the pools will be the responsibility of the EuroHockey and will be based on the final rankings of teams immediately after completion of the previous EuroHockey 5s U16 Championships.
NB To be eligible to participate in the EuroHockey 5s U16 Championships, players must be born on, or after, 1 January 2008. Moreover, each player needs to be at least 13 years old on the first day of the event and players need a valid passport.
NB The withdrawal date for all tournaments in these competitions is 15th January 2024. Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by the EuroHockey. See current EuroHockey Regulations for further details.
