The annual EuroHockey club of the year awards is a celebration of the sport and in particular grassroots development.
The award focuses on how a club has contributed to areas such as inclusion, education, development, and how it serves volunteers and the local community with the honour not necessarily focused on a club’s on-pitch performance.
There are two categories for the awards – ‘large’ clubs with more than 300 members and ‘small’ clubs with fewer than 300 members.
The winners of the 2024 EuroHockey club of the year will receive:
- €1,000 in prize money
- A visit in 2025 by a EuroHockey Ambassador
- A EuroHockey Club of the Year Pennant
