Pool B

Club de Campo de Madrid (ESP)

Appearances: 16

Best performance: Silver (7 times: 2008, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018)

Club de Campo de Madrid are one of the competition’s most frequent competitors with 16 previous appearances including nine medals, seven silver and two bronze.

Despite this record, they are returning after a relatively lengthy break, their first appearance since 2020. They do so on the back of their most recent Spanish indoor title achieved last weekend with a 3-2 final win over Sanse Complutense in Malaga.

There, goalkeeper Carlota Álvarez was named the best goalkeeper and she is among a quartet of Campo players who were with the Spanish side who played in the EuroHockey Indoor Championship in Prague in January, coming fourth place. Spanish outdoor legends Maria Lopez and Bea Perez were among them along with Lucía Abajo. Barrios twins Sara and Laura are also strong practitioners of this format.

East Grinstead (ENG)

Appearances: 1

Best performance: 7th (2020)

East Grinstead return to the top division having won the Trophy in 2025 – a feat they also achieved in 2025 – and try to improve on their seventh place in 2020.

They recently won their English title for the sixth time in the last decade, making it three in-a-row and the side has a number of star names. Captain Chloe Brown is an Irish international both on the boards and outdoors and played in the recent Euros in Prague; Julia Balcerzak is an Indoor World Cup winner from 2025 with Poland and her country’s captain.

Biba Mills, meanwhile, is one of the rising talents in England and top scored in the English indoor season with 29 goals in 10 games; she has the record of being the youngest goalscorer in the EHL.

Indoor is within the club’s DNA with their own indoor hall on site complete with fixed video analysis cameras. East Grinstead have created an environment where detail, development and elite performance are non-negotiable. They train regularly from the Autumn and have had numerous friendly fixtures.

Coach Theo Dowse adds: “We are delighted to return to Europe’s highest club level for indoor competition and are confident in our team’s ability to perform on this stage.

“With a blend of exciting youth prospects and senior international honours, we feel that we have the capacity to be successful at this tournament. We will play without fear and trust in one another to represent our club and our country with pride.”

HC ’s-Hertogenbosch (NED)

Appearances: 4

Best performance: Winners (2013)

The 2013 champions are making their first appearance in the competition since 2015; as such, their panel will be a completely new to this stage despite their famous outdoor success on the European stage. They ended this year in third place in the Dutch championship which SCHC won this time.

Key figures were the likes of Babs Reijnen, Lieve Wijckmans and Teuntje de Wit while Imme van der Hoek has taken over the captaincy of the team since Maartje Krekelaar picked up an injury.

The side is coached by Marieke Dijkstra who has vast indoor experience, playing in the World Cup in 2003, 2007 and 2011 before coaching the Dutch women’s side at the 2015 and 2018 editions. She then switched to the men’s indoor head coach role for the Euros in Berlin 2020 and was the SCHC men’s indoor coach in the Club Cup that same year.

SK Slavia Prague (CZE)

Appearances: 10

Best performance: Bronze (2014, 2016)

Slavia Prague will look to build on their international side’s inspirational run to European silver in January to get back into medal contention on this stage. They have medalled twice previously with bronze in 2014 and 2016 while they came in sixth place in 2025.

Their panel has five of the Czechia team in their line-up, namely Jindřiška Neusser, Natálie Nováková, Adéla Lehovcová, Nikol Babická and Natálie Hájkova.

As such, they have one of the most experienced indoor panel in the competition with goalkeeper Andrea Vančurová and Neusser amassing over 40 games.

They won the Czech title again this season with a near perfect campaign, taking the title with a 5-1 win in the final against Hradec Kralove.
