The German Hockey Federation (DHB) is pleased to continue its successful relationship with schauinsland reisen who will be the title sponsor of the men’s EuroHockey Indoor Championship 2026 in Heidelberg.
The Duisburg-based travel company will lend its name to the tournament, which will officially be titled the “schauinsland EuroHockey Indoor Championship 2026.”
This marks a continuation of the successful collaboration with the DHB following their partnership at the outdoor EuroHockey Championship in Mönchengladbach earlier this year.
With this latest engagement, schauinsland reisen will enjoy extensive visibility at one of Europe’s premier events. The sponsorship includes prominent placement on TV-visible advertising areas such as LED boards, floor stickers, and goal branding, as well as broad exposure across digital channels and on-site communications.
The timing of the partnership is particularly well chosen for schauinsland reisen. The winter months from December to February represent the company’s peak booking season when many customers plan their summer holidays.
The indoor championship therefore offers an ideal platform to present the brand in a vibrant, sports-driven setting.
“After our very successful collaboration at the outdoor EuroHockey Championship, we are delighted to further expand our partnership with schauinsland reisen,” says Magnus Weiand, Director of Marketing & Sponsoring at the DHB.
“The naming rights underline the growing connection between the brand and hockey and shows how attractive our sport has become as a platform for strong brand exposure.”
The schauinsland EuroHockey Indoor Championships 2026 will take place from January 8th to 11th in Heidelberg’s SNP Dome.
Europe’s top 10 men’s teams will compete for gold, turning the city into the continent’s indoor hockey capital for the four-day event. The German men’s team will enter the tournament as the reigning indoor world and European champion.
