Where to watch this week’s EuroHockey Championship qualifiers

The EuroHockey Championship qualifiers run from Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th with the allocation of places for next summer’s showpiece tournaments up for grabs.

On the women’s side, Glasgow, Scotland and Douai, France are the destinations for their two events while Dublin, Ireland and Vienna, Austria will play host to two men’s qualifier tournaments.

Each competition winner will earn a ticket to the 2025 EuroHockey Championships in Mönchengladbach. Second to fifth place at each event, meanwhile, will qualify for EuroHockey Championship II, meaning there are important issues to be decided in each fixture.

The host nations from each of the four tournaments have put in place live streaming options which will be available via www.eurohockeytv.org. Here’s a breakdown of what is in store:

EuroHockey Championship Qualifiers

Women Qualifier A (Glasgow, Scotland)

  • All games streamed live on EHTV free for all registered users

Women Qualifier B (Douai, France)

  • All games streamed live on EHTV free for all registered users; commentary only on Saturday and Sunday

Men Qualifier A (Vienna, Austria)

  • Six games to be streamed live on EHTV free for registered EHTV users
    Thursday, August 22nd: Switzerland v Portugal, 3.30pm (CET); Austria v Hungary, 5.45pm (CET)
    Saturday, August 24th: both semi-finals – 12pm & 2.15pm (CET)
    Sunday: August 25th: Bronze match and final – 1.45pm & 4pm (CET)
