HC Bra and Nizip Zeugma jumped out of the pack to top their respective tables and set up a final showdown in the men’s EuroHockey Club Trophy II in Zagreb.
It meant overnight group leaders Casa Pia and hosts Mladost dropped back the former set for a bronze match with KS Pomorzanin Torun while the Croatians face Slagelse for fifth.
Copenhagen meet SHVSM Olimpia Vinnitsa in the seventh place playoff on Sunday.

Game 9: HC SHVSM Olimpia Vinnitsa v Nizip Zeugma SK 1-3
In the first match of the day in Zagreb, Nizip Zeugma SK secured a 3-1 victory over HC SHVSM Olimpia Vinnitsa. The deadlock was broken in the second quarter when Ömer Beşer netted the first goal for Zeugma in the 26th minute. Beşer added another in the third quarter before Cihan Korkmaz got the third for Zeugma in the fourth quarter. Olimpia Vinnitsa managed a consolation goal from a penalty corner by Demian Mazurkevych in the 59th minute. It put Nizip Zeugma in pole position but they could be overtaken still by Casa Pia.
Game 10: Casa Pia Atlético Club v Slagelse HC 0-1
In the second Pool A encounter, Slagelse HC edged out Casa Pia Atlético Clube with a narrow 1-0 victory.
The only goal of the match came in the 42nd minute from a penalty corner converted by Christian Knuth of Slagelse HC. Despite Casa Pia’s efforts to equalise, they were unable to break through Slagelse’s resolute defence and meant they missed out on the final.
Game 11: Copenhagen HC v HC Bra 0-8
Pool B was a story of big scorelines with HC Bra putting themselves in contention with a heavy win over Copenhagen.
After a goalless first quarter, Bra exploded with four goals in the second quarter, including a brace from Simone Raimo and contributions from Andrea Bertorello and Nicola Missaglia. The third quarter saw another goal by Raimo, and Bra continued their onslaught in the fourth quarter with goals from Matteo Moro and Nicholas Chiesa, who completed his hat-trick. It left Bra in top spot but needing a favour from Pomorzanin Torun to earn a final spot.
Game 12: KS Pomorzanin Torun
v HAHK Mladost 8-1
And that result duly came as KS Pomorzanin Torun triumphed over HAHK Mladost with a commanding 8-1 victory.
Pomorzanin took an early lead with a penalty corner goal by Dmytro Luppa in the 3rd minute, followed by a field goal from Łukasz Kurniewicz three minutes later. They continued their offensive onslaught with goals from Mariusz Kowalski, Wojciech Rutkowski, and Filip Sobczak, establishing a 5-0 lead by half-time.
Mladost managed to score a consolation goal in the 47th minute through Jakov Damjanić, one that would prove crucial for Bra in the end. However, Pomorzanin responded with three more goals from Sobczak, Krystian Makowski, and Artur Kościelski, sealing their dominant win but it was one goal short in the final reckoning as Bra prevailed on goal difference.
