EuroHockey Competitions Committee Indoor meets

Last weekend, the EuroHockey Competitions Committee Indoor met in the EuroHockey Office in Brussels, Belgium, for their yearly meeting.

This was the 1st meeting of the new two-year cycle and the committee consists of a mixture of some established and a few new members. See the full list of members here.

The Committee received updates on the EuroHockey indoor club events 2026; EuroHockey Indoor Championships 2026 and EuroHockey U21 Championships 2027. The hosts of the 2026 events were congratulated and thanked for the hosting of these events. 

The Committee considered the entries and applications to host the EuroHockey Indoor Club Championships 2027. The venues and pools were announced on Wednesday 20th May and you can find them here.

Recommendations were made to the EuroHockey Executive Board for the awarding of hosts for the EuroHockey Indoor Championships 2028 and 2030. Once the Board has met during June, the hosts will be informed. 

They received updates on FIH events and discussed some (regulations) questions. Any changes will be published in due course (if needed) in the various sets of Regulations and Event Manuals.

The next committee meeting (online) will be at the end of 2026.
