Day 2 of the EuroHockey Club Trophy II Men 2025 in Lousada brought more drama and plenty of goals. The host club AD Lousada thrilled their home supporters with a stunning attacking display, while HC Bra edged an epic battle against HK Zelina. WKS Grunwald Poznan and HC Rotweiss Wettingen could not be separated in a high-quality Pool B encounter.
Game 4: HK Zelina 5–6 HC Bra
Italy’s HC Bra won a remarkable contest against HK Zelina, 6–5, in one of the games of the tournament.
After Andrii Koshelenko gave Bra an early lead (1’, FG), Zelina responded with three goals — Mihael Posavec (3’, PC, and 12’, PS) and Dominik Hrupec (4’, FG).
Bra fought back with goals from Koshelenko (30’, PC), Simone Petito (36’, FG), and Koshelenko again (38’, PC) to take a 4–3 lead.
Ivan Šoić equalised for Zelina (40’, PC), then Bohdan Kovalenko (53’, FG) put them back ahead. But Bra responded with a penalty stroke from Koshelenko (53’) and a dramatic late winner from captain Priyesh Bhana (57’, FG). With 5 yellow cards being delivered to the teams, both will need to be more disciplined going into the final pool games tomorrow.
Game 5: WKS Grunwald Poznan 1–1 HC Rotweiss Wettingen
WKS Grunwald Poznan and HC Rotweiss Wettingen played out a hard-fought 1–1 draw.
Wettingen took the lead through Jonas Winkler (19’, PC), but Łukasz Rybarski equalised with a well-taken field goal (26’) for the Polish side. Both teams had chances in the second half but had to settle for a share of the spoils.
Game 6: Grupo Desportivo do Viso 1–12 AD Lousada
Hosts AD Lousada delighted the home crowd with a stunning 12–1 victory over Portuguese rivals Grupo Desportivo do Viso.
Viso briefly led through captain Tiago Marques (2’, FG), but Marco Moreira equalised (17’, FG) and Lousada never looked back.
Ricardo Teixeira led the scoring with five goals (32’, 35’, 41’, 41’, 46’, all FG).
Further goals came from Jorge Sá (52’, FG), Hugo Ferreira (54’, FG), Vasco Ribeiro (56’, PC and 57’, PC), José Valinhas (57’, FG), and Gonçalo Teixeira (59’, PC), capping a superb performance from the hosts.

Day 2 in Lousada served up thrilling hockey, with HC Bra claiming an instant classic against HK Zelina and AD Lousada hitting top form in front of their home fans.
