SLF Mesaicos (SWE) – Orient Lyngby (DEN) 1-2

Orient Lyngby (pictured) confirmed their place in Monday’s final, ensuring it would be an all-Danish decider for gold, when they began the day with a 2-1 win over SLF Mesaicos.

They began perfectly with Nora Henriksen getting her side on the scoreboard in just the sixth minute and they had an extra buffer when Sofia Cuevas double the scoring in the third quarter.

Mesaicos kept battling and got their reward in the closing minute via Elijn Kroese, giving them a bonus point that lifted them to six in total after pool-play.

HC Copenhagen (DEN) – Seinäjoki United (FIN) 8-0

Copenhagen completed the group stage with a 100% record as their late flurry of goals saw them grab a strong 8-0 win over their Finnish guests.

Katja Christensen gave the host club a strong start in the third minute and they built on that before half-time via Laura Kristiansen for a 2-0 half-time advantage.

They doubled that total in Q3 and then four more in the last 10 minutes saw them run away with the scoreline.

Monday will begin with SLF Mesaicos up against Seinäjoki United at 09.45 CET before the final takes place at 12.00 CET between Copenhagen HC and Orient Lyngby.
