A dozen Indoor World Cup stars are also set to grace the boards in Siauliai, Lithuania next week as the women’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup takes place from February 14th to 16th.
It begins our EuroHockey indoor club season in earnest with four other tournaments taking place on the same weekend with three men’s events following a week later.
The Club Cup features eight national champions from across the continent, all vying for gold.
Pool A features the host club Šiauliai Ginstrektė-Akademija who will be representing their country in the top division for the first time since 2016. It will be their second time hosting with the competition previously taking place in the city in 2015.

They qualified for the event by virtue their silver medal in the 2024 EuroHockey Indoor Trophy in Poland and they will be looking to build on an encouraging start to their domestic league in January.
The Lithuanian club are joined in the group by Waterloo Ducks for whom Nahia Balon-Perin, Marie Ronquetti, Daphne Gose (pictured), Viviane de Jonghe, Joanne Peeters and Margaux Coudron are all currently playing in Poreč at the World Cup for Belgium.
The Ducks were recently crowned national champions, a feat emulated by Mannheimer HC in Germany. Their line-up has Austria star Fiona Felber in it, another playing this week in Croatia.
Sanse Complutense, meanwhile, have a big week ahead – this weekend will see them continue their pursuit to retain the Spanish indoor title before contesting the Indoor Club Cup for just the second time. They finished fifth in 2024 in Alanya.
Pool B sees Turkish club Ege Yildizlari make their debut on this stage but they do have a number of players with European medal already in their pocket for 2025. Sila Erkoç, Aleyna Başbuğ, Gülcan Paksoy, Esma Idik and Sude Nur Kurt were all part of their nation’s Under-21 side who took bronze in Wałcz in January.
They will be up against a hugely experienced MSC Sumchanka who won bronze in 2024 and are playing in the top division for the 10th time since 2010 – indeed, they have won bronze three times in that period.
SK Slavia Prague are another with a big World Cup presence; Nikol Babická, Natálie Nováková, Natálie Hájková, Adéla Lehovcová and Jindřiška Neusser are fighting for Czechia in the Poreč this week.
Dutch side SCHC, meanwhile, have a lot of star power in their panel. Olympic, World Cup and Euro gold medalist Laurien Leurink has lit up their team this year and brings the experience to quite a young panel.
Anna de Geus captains the team; she was a key figure in the Netherlands 2022 run to Euro indoor silver in Hamburg and World Cup gold in Pretoria in 2023.
Each game from Siauliai will be broadcast live on www.eurohockeytv.org on a pay-per-view basis.
Weekend passes are available for €7.99 while the EuroHockeyTV Season Pass is €39.99 and gives you access to all the major events in 2025 including the EuroHockey Championships and the Euro Hockey League FINALS.
Elsewhere next week, the women’s Indoor Club Trophy is being played in Porto with eight teams hoping for a top two spot which would bring their nation promotion for the 2026 Cup competition.
The women’s Club Challenge I is in Vienna where hosts AHTC will look to make their mark while Porvoo in Finland has a special Challenge II double-event with five men’s teams and three women’s clubs battling it out for glory.
Keep an eye on EuroHockey website and social channels for extended previews in the coming week.
